11:00AM - Consolidating

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by having too many blogs and social networking thingies, and I've come to the conclusion that maintaining two LJs really isn't helping. You wouldn't think that logging out of one account and logging into another would be that great a burden, and yet it's enough of a barrier to keep me from posting here very much.

So I've decided I'm just going to start posting my comics over at my regular LJ account, [info]ndrtoon. If you're only here for the comics and don't really care about my random ramblings (infrequent though they may be), you can cut to the chase and hit up www.studiondr.com directly.

I'm just starting to run one of the book chapters in its storyboard draft incarnation, so there will indeed be comix to peep at.

Read the entire thing from beginning to end

But, you ask, 2/3rds of the story are storyboards. When do we get the real art? The answer is, "eventually." Obviously, I have to focus the bulk of my efforts on the book for the foreseeable future. Once that's done and done, though, I would really like to put together a PIQue compendium as a proper trade paperback. For such a volume I would obviously want issue #3 to be complete, and so I do indeed intend to finish the art all proper-like as soon as time permits.

In the meantime, I hope folks who mostly come here for the Political InQueerectness will stick around for book developments. My publisher is very keen on seeing me carry over the PIQue writing style to the book, so I hope it will be something you enjoy.

9:20AM - The Outfield #75



More Outfield Comics

As you may or may not know, this is the last Outfield, at least for the next while. I'm having to focus right now on working on the book, so I'm cutting back on other work as much as possible. Better to do a few things well than a number of things half-assed. (I'll still be finishing up the PIQue storyboards over the coming weeks, though it's going to be a little bit before the next one since I'm trying to finish up the first draft of the book's script and storyboards right now.)

So that's what's up with that.

12:05PM - The Outfield #74



This is the penultimate Outfield, I am sad to say. I'm going to need to focus pretty much all my comic energies on the book from here on out. I am kind of pleased, though, that the Outfield will end on #75. It'll be a super bowl-themed, appropriately enough, so look for it in January '09. Once my current book is done and published I'd like to see about putting together an Outfield collection. More on that, I guess, when the time comes.
